About Me

I have worked in a variety of settings, including a Young Offenders Institution, Residential Care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, Social Services working with young people who had been in care, CRUSE Bereavement Care and most recently the NHS.

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and a member of the British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and I adhere to their Codes of Professional Conduct and Code of Ethics.

I am fully insured, receive regular supervision and attend regular training as part of my Continued Professional Development which ensures I maintain the highest standards of best practice.

For me, the best part about being a therapist is seeing the changes and the progress each person makes.  Every day they are challenging themselves and learning and making connections they had previously been unaware of.  The difference this can make to their lives is incredible and can help them take the necessary steps to bring about the better life they wanted.
