About CBT

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy looks at how you think and what you do in relation to specific situations that you find difficult to manage.  I will help you identify any unhelpful thoughts and / or behaviours that affect how you feel when you are in those situations.  Together we will challenge those thoughts and behaviours, in a way, and at a pace that you are comfortable with.  I will teach you the tools and techniques so that you can manage situations in a more helpful way in the future and so ultimately you feel better.
